Balmoral Park is a grassed park at Mosman with shade, a playground and BBQ facilities, set back from the beach. Dogs are welcome on-leash, as it is not a designated off-leash area, and the overhanging grass and trees make a pleasant green edge above the sand. It is a relaxed spot for a walk with harbour views nearby. A comfortable on-leash park by the water.

There are too many dogs on the beach now, especially in the morning and afternoon. Dogs are in the water, and their feces are often not cleaned up.

Great beach, dog friendly! Not the sand but the way the grass and trees over hang the beach it's great for them. The beach has no waves and pretty calm. There is a netted area. Showers are spread out all along the beach. Parking is dear but there is a lot of turn so you do get spots.

Balmoral Park is really a very good place to spend a day since it is well maintained park which is facilitated with restaurant and toilets with shower. There are beaches on either side of the arch bridge. There is a small island where you can go by crossing the arch bridge. The area is quite big. Good place for picnicking, swimming or simply reading a book.

Lovely beach, surrounding takeaway shops have expensive food though, so best to bring your own food.
