BabaG's combines a dog grooming salon with a cafe, making it a genuine dog-first venue. The outdoor area has sheltered seating, water bowls, and treats for visiting dogs. The cafe side holds its own too — it's not just an afterthought to the grooming. Simpson Park is a short walk away if your dog needs a stretch before or after a grooming appointment.

My daughter found BabaG’s on Instagram and showed me their profile. I immediately thought it looked like the perfect place to take our dog for grooming. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Sam, who was incredibly patient and kind, especially since our dog has had bad grooming experiences in the past. When I booked over the phone, I explained our concerns, and the team was more than happy to take extra time and care with our senior dog. The environment is so welcoming, and all the staff are genuinely lovely and great with dogs. One thing I really appreciated is that you can actually see your dog being groomed, which shows how transparent and caring they are. It’s clear they treat every dog like their own. I would absolutely recommend BabaG’s if you’re looking for a groomer who truly cares. We’ll definitely be back

My Toy cavoodle suffers extreme separation anxiety but the team at BabaG’s put him at ease and myself! Not to mention Bentley comes out looking so handsome and smelling fantastic which lasts over a week! Plus the coffee and food is AMAZING! Wouldn’t take Bentley anywhere else!

I brought my dog Javi in to fix a not-so-great grooming job done elsewhere earlier in the day, and I couldn’t have been happier with the result and overall experience at Baba G’s. The grooming was gentle, professional, and top-notch but what really sets Baba G’s apart is the entire environment. It’s open, transparent, and clearly built with both dogs and their humans in mind. You can see the grooming as it happens, which adds so much trust. The space is calm, fun, and full of positive energy, and the dogs genuinely seem to enjoy being there. They also offer flexible doggy daycare by the hour and have a coffee shop on-site, making it an incredibly thoughtful dog and owner focused space. The business is named after the owner Sam’s stunning Afghan, Baba Ghanoush and his love for dogs is felt in every detail. Leonie, the business manager, and the entire grooming team are kind, skilled, and incredibly caring. So happy to support this heart-led local business. Thank you Sam and team Javier and I are so glad we found you! 🐾♥️🙏🏼

dissatisfaction with the grooming service experience we had today, which we found to be confusing, uncomfortable, and lacking transparency. During our initial visit, we specifically asked about grooming services for a large-breed puppy. We were asked about the breed, size, and age of our dog, and all relevant information was clearly provided so that we could receive accurate guidance. At that time, we were informed that the basic grooming service (nails and trimming the hair around the face) would cost $90. When booking the service, we paid a $25 advance booking fee. However, on the day of the appointment, we were surprised to be told that the cost of the same basic grooming service was actually $180, which directly contradicted the price we had previously been given. We believe this situation could have been avoided with clearer communication and more transparent pricing. The experience was uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, the $25 booking fee was non-refundable, even though the issue did not arise from an error on our part. Overall, we were disappointed by the lack of clarity and transparency, and unfortunately, we would not recommend a service where pricing and booking conditions are not clearly communicated to customers

I found this grooming salon on instagram and immediately recognised Sam as fantastic barista from a previous cafe. I was attracted to option of seeing what was happening with my very nervous hyper vigilant silky terrier during grooming process! The team were amazing! So patient and gentle with Eddie and groomed him beautifully in a calm environment! I’ll definitely be back!
