came for the fish burger but was utterly disappointed. you could taste the un-fresh, strong fishy taste of the barramundi fillet that could only come from a long frozen time, not even the mountain of tartare sauce could cover. i have barramundis regularly so this was really the worst piece of fish I’ve had. spoke to the waiter to give the feedback and it was crickets from the owner/chef. i hope it was just a bad batch, but the way they handled it was also a pretty bad reflection. the basque cheese cake was good but would never come back. to respond to the response from owner, i clearly said in my original review that I spoke to the waiter but she just said she will let the chef know but nothing was said in response at the time. the food were not finished. please do not twist facts. like i said, you might have received a bad batch but the fish did not taste fresh to me. your service was great in normal circumstances but none of the stuff or chef responded to my feedback on the burger. response x 2, sounds like you do remember the order which means the waiter did tell you about my feedback and you ignored. the fish burger contained a chunk of fish cut in 2, i ate half of them trying to figure out if it was an issue with one or 2 bite but soon realized it was definitely the fish’s issue. the other half of the fish was untouched with half of the bun also untouched. it was definitely not only the skin left. when you do know about the issue and choose to ignore to even speak to me about it is exactly why this review is being posted. I actually specifically told the waiter i did not want any compensation but to pass on the feedback and we paid full price for the items ordered. There's a chance words might have been lost between a 3rd party (waiter) but i find the twisting of facts a bit uneasy. have a great day. respond again, lies after lies plate was not empty. and i did not want anything but to post an honest review of my experience of your food and service at your cafe. and you are showing a very poor version of it online as well. well done; just because you sneak in an edit does not mean i won’t check. thank you for responding and the uselessness that came with it.

Such a good post Pilates brunch spot at the end of King ✨ Finally tried the double fish burger and honestly… I get the hype now. Super crispy on the outside, soft inside, and not too heavy either 🍔😮‍💨 We also had the tropical bowl and crab pasta which balanced everything out perfectly 🥗🦀🍝 Definitely one of those meals where every dish hit

One of the best cafes in Newtown. The double fish burger and the pulled pork Bennie were our highlights! The taro iced latte had a strong taro flavour and not diluted from the ice. The basque cheese cake had a rather soft texture in the middle but worth trying!

We ordered two Double Fish Burgers, and although the staff were very busy and accidentally forgot our order, their service was excellent. When I asked to cancel, they sincerely apologized and even kindly gave us the two burgers for free to take away. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The food was also really delicious and high quality. I really appreciate their attitude and service. I will definitely come back again!

Came here to try their viral fish burger and it did not disappoint! So so yum. Their house made hasbrowns was ok, probably could've skipped it. Service was good although they gave me the wrong coffee order but it turned out to be a great mistake! Ended up with their pandan cold brew which was delicious! Enjoyed the vibe inside the restaurant too. Will definitely come back to try other things.
