Cabarita Park is a large waterfront park on the Parramatta River, with shade, BBQ facilities and open lawns running down towards the water. It has a designated off-leash area, with dogs on-leash through the rest of the park and kept clear of the playground. The riverside setting and easy parking make it a comfortable place for a longer visit. A pleasant, well-equipped park for a walk with a water outlook.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. Dogs prohibited within 10m of playgrounds and play equipment. Check on-site signage for any additional restrictions.
Great spot for a bbq or picnic. Right on the water, with a small beach for dogs to splash around. Very pretty spot.
Cabarita Park is a pleasant waterfront spot with beautiful views of the Parramatta River and plenty of open green space. It’s great for walking, picnics, or just relaxing by the water. The park is generally well maintained and peaceful, though it can get a bit busy on weekends. Parking can also be limited at peak times, but overall it’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
Great for family picnic. Beach lovers and if you are a sunset observer then this is a great place to be. Close by shops and plenty of parking. Has amenities and pay electric skooties to enjoy the scenery. It's local and other to crowded, which is perfect. BBQ areas, saw atleast three there, shaded areas to sit. For the little ones lots to do and have fun.
This is a great park for families with a range of kids ages. Play equipment is shaded and activities are varied (though the swings are a bit small) and there are clean bathrooms right next door. There aren’t fences everywhere, but the road isn’t a thoroughfare and the playground is a way back. There is plenty of flat green space to kick a ball. And families are enjoying BBQs and picnics all around. Buses and ferries service the area, so accessibility is great.
Located at 172 Cabarita Road, Cabarita, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This beautiful park is on the banks of the Parramatta River and is truly beautiful. We have been a few times now and each time we came by Ferry from Circular Quay and it made for a wonderful day out each time. We had a really lovely walk making our way to the Marina where we had lunch at the kiosk. The views of the water was stunning. I noticed a swimming pool which looked lovely and I imagine would be quite popular. There is parking in the park but I don’t think it’s big enough to cope with the crowds which would be huge during the weekend and holidays. We came on a weekday so the park wasn’t crowded at all. There’s plenty of BBQ facilities around and seating and there’s a wonderful children’s playground area and it’s shaded. There’s a toilet block located near the playground. The beach is great, it’s the closest one to Parramatta, it’s approximately 200m long. Depending on the tide, you can walk along the beach, around the rocks to the kiosk. There’s also a conservatory situated between the playground and the swimming pool. It’s for artists to hold workshops etc. The swimming pool is great, it’s a wonderful size and the amenities are top notch. The Ferry wharf is at the bottom western end of the park There’s also a bus stop there. This is a wonderful park and I would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍😊😊
