Found parking on nearby streets. A bit of downhill walk on path in park. Pram would be ok. Toilet block and outside shower. Lots of shade. Shallow water for kids. Dogs at park some off leash which isn't allowed so just keep eye on kids.

Beautiful little hidden beach a short walk from a locked gate at the end of Darook Park Road… Nice little grassy area overlooking the beach as you walk down with a seating bench and sign warning of massive fines for vandalising trees… Once you get to the bottom you are greeted by a large grassy area with plenty of trees for shade and a decent toilet public block… Bins are provided for your rubbish, and the water is crystal clear and very shallow… Even on the high tide you can walk about 100m out and still have your head above water, which makes it a very safe swimming for young families… Be careful exploring the ricks at the north end of the beach, as they are covered in moss and therefore very slippery in sections

The nicest little west facing beach in Cronulla. Can walk on leash dogs 🐶 Shallow water for safety with little ones. Perfect for small boats, SUP, flamingo floats and kayaks. No waves and so good for sunsets over water 🌊 toilet facilities and a lot of shade. If you have kids you must try it out. Just keep the beach clean and don’t smoke here.

Lovely lunch. Air conditioning. Lovely polite staff even under stress of so many people visiting there on the day. Large area to find a quieter place to talk. They have a Santa seat and a raffle for Christmas currently on.

Tiny quite park. The best spot to enjoy sunset 🌇 or have a picnic 🧺 in Cronulla. There are a couple benches and access to a beach 🏖. Especially magnificent place is a small cave can be used as a shelter in rainy days ☔️
