Cronulla Beach Rock Pool

Arrived at 9pm. Not easy acess but worth 10min walk through ally way to beach. Safer place to swim at night due to submerged hazards and shark island sounds taxing.lol Friendly locals, water clear, illuminated and cool. Showers at pool. No toilets but have a Van bottle.lol. another bigger pool south for laps. ha ha, Great place to wash off demons from politics in the sydneys devils playground and to pray for local former PM Scomo NASA Cape York to take USA ambassador job and cheif economic geographer for the new Asian banks.lol

Two swimming rock pools are found here. Ideal for those who favor morning laps. Not much place to hang out your stuff whilst you make laps around the pool which can be inconvenient. Many older folks staying around here enjoy the swim and will tell you that if done regularly, you'd enjoy the salt water plus condition your body to the vagaries of the seasonal changes in water temperature. The tide must could have brought in the juvenile tiger puffer commonly found in these rock pools.

Great idea. Fed by the sea. So yiu can swim without worrying about riptides.

This was my first visit to the beach and rockpool. The beach and the pool are easily accessible and you have a lovely path for walking and jogging all along the beach. A good place to bring your family. For photographers like me, this is one of the hotspots for sunrise photography.

What a wonderful surprise today when I went strolling after my morning swim. Unexpected forests of sea plants that squirt water when you tread on them, urchins, starfish and some very strange and beautiful vegetation. Lovely. I haven’t wandered around in rock pools In a long long time. (And some photographs of which I’m quite proud 😊)
