The Huskisson Hotel is a large, multi-level venue with several outdoor areas that step down toward views of the water. The layout creates a mix of open and more sheltered spaces, with grassy sections adding variety to where you can sit.
It's a popular destination and can get busy, particularly during peak periods, but the size of the venue gives you options to move between areas.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas.
Large beer garden and outdoor areas that are pet friendly. It can be hard to find a shady spot if you arrive later in a busy day. Lovely position facing the water.
Good place to stay for a short trip. The price was ok and the location is great, right in the main bit of Huskisson/jervis bay with easy access to the beach/other food places. The room was cosy and even came with 2x drinks vouchers for downstairs which was nice. There was designated parking for our car as well that was good. The only bit of feedback was that there was a bit of mould in the bathroom/shower. Overall good place to stay and would recommend!!
Stayed 2 nights in the city view room woth balcony for my partners marathon over the weekend. They allowed us a late check in, they made it easy to organise over the phone. Security assisted us as it was after 10pm. Room was decent size, veryclean and good amenities. Balcony overlooked the main street. Was perfect for people watching and watching the Huski tri. Was a little loud overnight as they had a halloween party and it was packed out for the busy weekend. They gave us 2 free drink vouchers for the pub downstairs. Food was amazing. Service exceptional. Very packed out with the run/tri weekend but all staff were amazing and on top of everything. Free parking for guests too.
The steak sandwich & cauliflower were both nice & tasty. The ‘lot’ burger patty was one of the worst we had. Service was good & staff were friendly. I left the rooms at 1 star as I am only leaving a review on the restaurant/ bar.
Ordered Thai Beef Salad and Grilled Salmon from the bistro. The beef in the salad looked like recycled roast beef cooked in a bit of chilli. The crispy noodles were cheap packet noodles sprinkled on top. The obligatory mixed packet salad and non descript dressing were not particularly Thai. The closest offering towards fulfilling the brief were a few shards of cucumber. My daughter’s salmon tasted like it was cooked on the same grill as the reheated beef. If it wasn’t a late lunch I may have complained. Fabulous location but I can’t recommend the food.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
