Bud's Tavern

We've been lucky to have been visiting Huskisson when the Buds tavern was hosting their first Filipino night. The staff seemed so happy and attentive that we actually decided to return on night two. Tuesday Schnitty night! I had the Caesar salad and my partner had the Schnitty. It's the crispiest Schnitzel I have tried in a long time. You see that whoever is working in the Kitchen, cooks with love. So they did on night one where we had a set course menu, as well as on night two. Plus it's dog friendly! We will be back!

Nice atmosphere, decent selection of drinks, good service. Multiple seating options from people watching out the front, to tucked away round the corner, to booths inside and beating your family/friends at pool (my personal favourite). Selective beer options, the pale has a great taste and nice kick to it. Get in on the happy hour cocktails (photo of spicy Marg, sorry the sausage dog and owner insisted on photo bombing) that are well priced and on point. Overall drink selection is decent and would meet 99% of needs, lean in and enjoy what’s there, enjoy the space, enjoy the moment, it’s good. Bonus point for the takeaway cocktails so you can carry the day/night on. Not my first visit, nor my second and will absolutely be back.

Unreal food and the most enthusiastic team. Beer was so beautiful too. Will definitely be back.

I had such an incredible first visit to this place! The service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, making the whole experience even better. Their menu is seriously impressive, with so many amazing options that I honestly had trouble picking just one thing. I ended up going with the burger and fries, and it was beyond amazing. The fries were cooked to absolute perfection – just the right amount of crispiness and saltiness. And the burger it had the most delicious toppings, a fantastic sauce, and perfectly melted cheese that made every bite heavenly. Seriously, the pictures don't even do it justice; the food tastes even better than it looks! It was super easy to find, right off the street, which is always a plus. I'd give this spot a solid 10 out of 10 and I'm already looking forward to going back one day!

We had a quick and pleasant early dinner at Bud’s Tavern. The food is adequate and the service is efficient. Nothing to write home about, but then again, we weren’t expecting much. Their Bud’s cheeseburger is decent, and the squid salad is fresh and flavorful. In summary, Bud’s Tavern offers hearty yet unmemorable fare.
