Voyager Park is a dog-friendly park in Huskisson. Just 100m away, Huskisson Hotel is a great nearby spot to relax with your dog after a walk.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Voyager Park, a Shoalhaven City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control in public places throughout the Shoalhaven, except in Council's designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas.
Nice park with lots of space, there are benches so parents have somewhere to sit and there are bins, toilets and pools located close by. Very convenient location. Parking is bad though. There is no shaded picnic area/BBQ area.
Small but we'll maintained playground. Unfenced, bark chip floor and unshaded. Nearby bathroom. Open water nearby. Cafes and parking in close proximity
Voyager Park offers lovely scenery and a meaningful monument that tells an interesting story. It’s a calm and relaxing place, perfect for a short walk or taking nice photos. The area is well-kept and a great stop to enjoy the view and learn a bit of local history.
Voyager Park in Huskisson is a hidden gem! It offers a nice, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating spaces to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. One of the highlights is the 50-yard long ocean pool, perfect for a refreshing swim. I appreciate that the pool is cleaned regularly, typically on Thursdays or Fridays, ensuring a clean and enjoyable experience for visitors. For families, there's also a kids' pool, adding to the park's appeal for all ages. The presence of the Marine Rescue Jervis Bay Base adds a unique touch to the area, and the nearby memorial adds a sense of history and importance to the park. Voyager Park is definitely worth a visit for a peaceful day by the water.
Great park with beautiful views and some history to discover.
