The $49 Scotch Fillet was inedible. No taste full of sinews, didn’t look like Scotch Fillet and quality certainly not what is advertised. Vegetables were passable. Our dog had a $49 meal. I have been going to Kiama Grand for 5 years and the food has gradually deteriorated to the point where I won’t be back to The Grand Hotel again. It is a shame because it used to be really good.

Meals are fantastic, but the main reason for this post is the exceptional service. Apologies for not having names, but a more mature beautiful lady who is there often is absolutely outstanding and my wife and i have been the grateful recipients of her fine service many times. Every time we are there her service is quite simply, sensational. To the young barmaid and barman that served us today, your lovely nature, friendliness and easygoing demeanour made myself, my son and my mate all comment on the easygoing yet brilliant way you carried out your service. In short....we felt like we were eating/drinking in a family dining room with friends. Wednesday lunchtime 17.12.2025

We just had the most amazing meal, again at the pub. My husband had Lamb Backstrap. Veggies cooked perfectly too. I had the special, ravioli, So delicious. Dessert was Choc Lava and Tiramisu. Perfect main and dessert. We have eaten here a few times recently and can’t say enough about how great the food is. Definitely Gastro Pub.

Cool place, OK looking menu & I was told by a local that it was good "pub food". I thought the Parmesan & Nut crusted Salmon sounded interesting. The good - it was big meal & very filling. The bad - overcooked salmon & 4x large bones left in.

staff when ordering where nice but it took 30 mins to get our food (wasn’t busy). we had to ask someone to chase up our food the. 10 mins later we had it. my friend ordered his steak medium rare and it definitely wasn’t, was more medium well. food was cold and steak was tough. good for drinks but not food.
