The $49 Scotch Fillet was inedible. No taste full of sinews, didn’t look like Scotch Fillet and quality certainly not what is advertised. Vegetables were passable. Our dog had a $49 meal. I have been going to Kiama Grand for 5 years and the food has gradually deteriorated to the point where I won’t be back to The Grand Hotel again. It is a shame because it used to be really good.

We recently travelled to the NSW South coast town of Kiama on a heritage train, and we had yums in our tums lunch at The Grand Hotel! I decided to have the Beer Battered Fish and chips. And it was just SO AWESOME! VERY delicious! The staff The Grand Hotel are professional, friendly, and courteous. We can NOT recommend visiting to The Grand Hotel highly enough! So, If you ever find yourself in Kiama, do yourself a HUGE favour and dine and drinks at The Grand Hotel! :)

Great steak selection and well cooked both times now ! Had the Rib Eye @$65 and can’t get better for the price anywhere else. Does get busy and hard to lock in a table number that’s free and stays free whilst ordering at the bar and you need a table number …

Great pub hidden away from the main street. Food was fantastic and delicious. Beers are cold and the bartenders are friendly. Great place to have lunch

Meals are fantastic, but the main reason for this post is the exceptional service. Apologies for not having names, but a more mature beautiful lady who is there often is absolutely outstanding and my wife and i have been the grateful recipients of her fine service many times. Every time we are there her service is quite simply, sensational. To the young barmaid and barman that served us today, your lovely nature, friendliness and easygoing demeanour made myself, my son and my mate all comment on the easygoing yet brilliant way you carried out your service. In short....we felt like we were eating/drinking in a family dining room with friends. Wednesday lunchtime 17.12.2025
