Wild Patch Cafe is a cafe in Kiama with outdoor seating. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
Wild Patch Café offered an okay coffee experience, but nothing stood out enough to make me want to return. A few details felt a little inconsistent. ☕ Coffee: The coffee was fine but fairly unremarkable, with no latte art and an overall sense that not much effort went into its preparation. The mix of Byron Bay branding on the cups and Di Stefano signage on the awning was a bit confusing. 👋 Staff: Service was okay, though the staff felt somewhat disengaged — possibly because it was near the end of the day. Nothing negative happened, but the interaction lacked warmth. 🪑 Seating & decor: There’s a small amount of outdoor seating, most of it in full sun. The shaded low-table area is pleasant in theory, but the bench was quite broken, which detracted from the setup. 📍 Location: Very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, town centre, blowhole and lighthouse, making it an easy stop for visitors. Overall, it was an okay visit, but not one I’d choose to repeat.
WPC is the mailman in that it always delivers. Harbour views from tables out front. Generous capacity inside + out. Local artists featured on walls inside. Professional, polite staff. The Herculean breakfast or eggs Benny are my favorites. A wee bit expensive but very reasonable given the calibre of dining experience, cuisine, service, and location. Hands down the best cafe in Kiama with an iconic view. Well done 👏
Even when the restaurant wasn’t busy, the waiting time was extremely long. The food was very average, and the portions were so small that they weren’t filling at all. This dining experience was extremely unpleasant. If you’re looking for an enjoyable meal, I’d recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Australia day abs we went to Kiama. Such a breathtaking place to visit. Eventually we got hungry and sat for breakfast. This cafe is convenient as it's tables are set inside and outside. For those with pets or worry a disability its accessibility is good. Food came quick and was delicious.
What happened to this place? It’s gone downhill since our last visit. There was no atmosphere, no full breakfast menu—just five options on a blackboard—and the staff felt unwelcoming, the opposite of what it used to be. It’s a shame, as we always looked forward to coming here when visiting Kiama, but we ended up discovering much better cafés nearby.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
