LOVED this cafe. Very sweet staff and cute interior with outdoor seating too. The food was filling and delicious, and the coffee was just what I needed. The cafe is situated on a quieter street, which was nice. Good variety in food and drink options. Recommended!
Such a hidden gem in Camperdown! I really enjoyed the goji soy pork belly and Tom yum pasta here. The pork belly was fatty and juicy. The pasta was loaded with crispy chicken panko katsu. They also have one of the beautiful latte arts I’ve ever seen!
We visited this restaurant during our trip to Sydney and we absolutely loved it. The food was great, but our favorite part was definitely the drinks, especially the chai frappe and the matcha frappe they were delicious! We also want to give a special thanks to Juli, who took amazing care of us. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and even gave us such a lovely welcome to Sydney. Her service really made our experience even more special. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ⭐
I popped into The Twelve Cafe after seeing it on EatClub while I was nearby, and left feeling pretty disappointed. This is just my personal opinion, but the place felt quite grubby and greasy, with not many clean tables to choose from. It was busy, so it’s clearly popular, but the overall vibe felt a bit dirty. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, which was more like a strange variation than a traditional Reuben - half toasted, half soggy. There was nothing technically wrong with it and I did finish it as I had limited time for lunch, but it wasn’t enjoyable. Service was minimal at first, though fine once I got someone’s attention. Glad I tried it at a discounted price, but I wouldn’t pay full price or return.
Does anyone know how to make a hot coffee/capuccino anymore? When you ask for a capuccino to be "very hot", do you expect it to come out just above warm? Do you expect it to taste weak? If I'm going to pay $4-5 for coloured water, I do expect it to be hot and strong. Alas, not from Twelve. And not from Deus just up the road, which I gave up on years ago. Surely a barista worth his/her salt should know how to use a coffee machine properly...presumably that's why you get the certificate. Sadly, in my eperience, not. Only about 1 in 10 do. The rest just go through some sort of unthinking motion.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
