Lifehouse Café is a cafe in Camperdown where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Busy with patients, carers, staff. Food choices ok for a busy medical site, always good to see the 5-star care happening around us. Go see the 3-d printer in foyer, making new body parts! Wowsers 😱 di
Have dined here a number of times as my partner is undergoing treatment in this hospital. The food is reasonable for its type, however the establishment is somewhat lacking in other regards. Cleaning is not managed efficiently enough at times, tables remain dirty for too long, concerning in a cancer hospital. Today I was charged $9.65 for a matcha latte, the most expensive and disappointing I have ever had, also very small given I ordered a large (which I queried at the time of collection). The last time we ordered lunch, they completely forgot our order & 20mins later we prompted them. It was only then they began preparing our meal. No concession was offered despite this terrible service. I highly recommend crossing the road and patronising the RPA cafe instead. The food is superior & more affordable as well as the service being more consistent and efficient.
An awful lunch at the Chris Obrien Lifehouse cafe. Even the ham, cheese & tomato toasty is almost inedible - the bread is cut so thinly & slathered in oil or margarine so it doesn’t toast properly resulting in a soggy mess. This used to be a great cafe serving healthy well cooked food and excellent coffee. Are there new owners? Do the staff need training? Please do something to improve the food as many customers have to eat here while waiting for medical treatment.
Very basic. The cold sandwiches were not tasty. However, the coffee was good. It was much better than other fancy coffee shops. Only option and I hope they can inprove a bit.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
