Friendly service, smooth coffee and silky quiche. Enjoyed the crunchy tart shell of the lemon meringue - will definitely visit again! Great that it's so close to the station.

Criminally underrated! St Germain Patisserie is such a hidden humble local gem of Redfern, and Gwynne is a master, I’m not normally a dessert person, but got my favourite, the Passionfruit tart for my 50th birthday party, and it was a showstopper, the smell of the passionfruit as you open the box, the beyond happy gorgeous look of it, and then the flavour! The Flavour! It was a hit, thank you Gwynn 🙏🏼

Saint Germain Patisserie in Redfern has that rare charm that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a cool little corner-store gem. one of those places you want to keep secret, yet can’t help telling everyone about. It has an inviting neighbourhood vibe where the regulars are just as warm and friendly as the staff behind the counter. You can tell straight away that this is a spot people return to, not just for what’s on the menu, but for the feeling of being welcome. The desserts, food, and drinks are all crafted to perfection, showcasing real care in every detail. Whether you’re grabbing a buttery croissant, indulging in one of their beautifully presented pastries, or sipping on a perfectly balanced coffee, everything tastes thoughtfully made and consistently top-notch. It’s the kind of patisserie where you can taste skill and passion in every bite. If you’re looking for a place with authentic community spirit, exceptional flavours, and a relaxed, local vibe, Saint Germain Patisserie deserves a spot at the top of your list. A Redfern delight that’s absolutely worth the visit.

19/10/24 - 4 stars Pretty quaint and cute little neighbourhood bakery in Redfern. Nothing fancy and just simple baked goods, however, i would say that, strictly in terms of quality of pastries, it's probably a level below, even compared to those within Redfern. Beef burgundy pie Flavour: S, 8/10. Solid but would have liked a richer beef and wine flavour Texture: A, 7/10. Gravy quite minimal and beef a little dry. Pastry: A, 7/10. Not bad but a bit chalky Value: B, 6/10. $7 is about average but wouldnt spend on this pie again
