The Berry Hotel is a dog-friendly pub with outdoor space. Apex Park is also just a short walk away, making it easy to fit in a walk before or after your visit.
Dogs allowed in the front outdoor section (4 tables).
Came for a drive from Wollongong to check out Berry. I had the mushroom pizza absolutely brilliant 10/10. The beer pint was perfect on a warm afternoon. Nice outside area to have lunch with our dog.
Nice pub for a drink and a meal except their bizarre rule about food. They made up their own sign and quoted the ‘smoke free act of 2000’ to say no food to be consumed in this outdoor seating area! OK to drink and smoke but not eat… go figure!
Booked an upgraded motel room directly on the site, not through third party or airbnb. Location and room nice, unfortunately let down by lack of service. Neither bed side lamps were working, difficult for reading in bed. Reception was closed mid afternoon with no response when contacting inquires number by text and ph call. With no staff.on site, it is concerning in case of emergency. This property could be improved with a more personal touch especially when paying Sydney hotel rates.
Misses was kicking off hard about being hungry. We stopped in, she got southern fried burger. Kicked her right into shape. Toy are back in the cot. For now….. I had the snitty. Was Unreal. 9.5 out of 10. Recommend.
Didn't get a room but had lunch there instead. Service was good and mostly the food was good. Barramundi with veg was very nice as was the chips and salad portion of the beer battered fish and chips. What I would avoid in that dish however is the "fish" part. The issue I had with it is not only were the three portions of what is meant to be beer battered fish almost cold, the fish tasted very processed and not like fish at all. I managed to get through one piece with help from tartar sauce, but couldn't bring myself to eat the other two pieces. Disappointed as everything else was tasty, it was just the beer battered fish portions that was not edible.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
