Almost every time I drive through Berry or stop in town, I make a point of visiting this café. It’s one of my favourite spots in the area. The food is consistently good and beautifully presented. I especially love their breakfast — it’s always fresh and satisfying. I have no complaints at all; the service is reliable, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There are two seating areas — a comfortable indoor space as well as outdoor seating, which is lovely on a nice day. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. They offer both classic menu options if you prefer something familiar, and more unique dishes if you feel like trying something different. Definitely a place I would recommend visiting.

The waitstaff here were very impressive during our bottomless lunch. We travel to this area every years for our annual bookclub getaway and this year The Garden’s drink package enticed us to come to Berry. The food and the fresh drinks did not disappoint neither did Dan or Steph!!

Popular restaurant with the locals. The restaurant was full on a Monday - the average age was probably 70. We waited about 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. My coffee came out quickly, but then we waited for a time. My mother, who has dementia, asked at least 5 times if someone had come to take our order - giving you an idea how long we waited. The food was good. The smoked salmon salad was huge. My mom ate all.of it - so it must have been good. The rest of us had the beer bettered cod. The fish was perfect, but it would have been nice to have had a little salad along with the smashed peas and chips. After finishing our meal, we wanted tea and desert. But no one came to serve us for 20 minutes. No one came to clear the empty tables. So we left.

Our group enjoyed lunch at The Garden Berry, complete with the bottomless spritz package. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was both speedy and genuinely lovely. We had a beautiful afternoon and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The food itself was fantastic, we got the baked Spanish eggs and the Turkish cup it which were cooked perfectly and excellent portions. What can’t be said and was extremely disappointing for the both of us was the service and atmosphere. We felt incredibly uncomfortable on arrival with little things that were being done for other customers. We were not provided with any table water (despite the fact that others arrived later and were given the same) and table service to order for us was significantly delayed, again despite the fact that other people had arrived later and were ordered almost immediately. Even when I put my hand up that we were ready, the waitress was very cold towards our order. I acknowledge that today was extremely busy and could tell that they were stressed, however it left us feeling very uncomfortable and singled out at the end.
