Albert Street Caffé and Bar

My new go to Cafe in Berry. Coffee was really nice. My meal and the service were great. I had the Spiced Squid - yummy. Staff are really caring and very nice. Dog Friendly also! I forgot to take a pic of my meal because I was ravenous lol

"Our new favourite place for food in Berry" We have had a breakfast and a lunch here recently and can't believe how delicious and beautifully cooked our meals were. The use of good quality, seasonal food perfectly cooked by the wizard of a chef Dan has made this our new favourite place for food in Berry. So glad that it is conveniently located one street back from the main street - much easier parking.

This is a great cafe amongst some good cafes in Berry. Dan makes the best porridge you could imagine and is always ready to greet customers with a big smile. Coming back often for creamy porridge filled with delicious fruit. Coffee is awesome and served with care, what a great start to the day! Highly recommended!

My experience was so bad I thought someone was playing a prank on me. At the 40 minute mark, they came over to ask if I wanted my coffee regular or large. By the 60 minute mark I considered asking for the excess liquid from the gutter of the coffee machine so I could get some kind of coffee. At the 80 minute mark (yes, 80 minutes), my coffee came burnt. Food was average for a 45 minute wait. They brought out 1 item out of a 4 item order, then asked us to remind them of the other three. Asked every staff member to help clear the table, ended up doing it myself. I think some of the employees were trying their best, none of them were rude, they just had no idea how to do their job. Guy with the glasses was really really trying his best. This review is not for him. The rest of them? Maybe it’s not their fault. Maybe they didn’t know they even work there. Ultimately, the person I am most disappointed at for this whole experience, is myself, for giving my money and time, to this ill-prepared venue.

First visit here, and many more to come when I visit Berry. Best coffee I have had in a long time, the rosti breakfast was delicious in every way, poached eggs delivered perfectly, well done to you! Value for money. Thank you 😋
