A busy Sunday lunch time. Had to wait for 5 mins before sitting down. Very nice environment, good coffee, good manner staff and excellent big breakfast. As it was Sunday, we paid extra 5% as surcharge. Parking not a problem, 3 hours free.
Overpriced and average tasting food. Nuggets and chips cost close to $15, with only 7 pieces of nuggets. Prawn toast was quite small in size and taste quite bland as well. Edit: Dropping review from 2 stars to 1 star post business reply. Mediocre food, overpriced and apparently lousy business attitude. Would opt for Maccas for my chicken nuggets and chips anyday.
We ordered the prosciutto soldier and the mushroom toast today, and the hollandaise was honestly so good. The mushrooms were seasoned perfectly, and we really enjoyed sharing everything. We’ve only ever grabbed takeaway coffee from here, so this was our first time trying the food and we’ll definitely be back more often!!
Today’s cappuccino was creamy with a bold, satisfying espresso base — definitely one for those who prefer their coffee with a bit more punch. I ordered the special, and the Turkish bread was perfectly toasted: crisp on the outside but not dry inside — a small triumph. The scrambled eggs were soft, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The crab itself was handled well — no issues with freshness or technique — but flavor-wise, it didn’t quite harmonize with the eggs. A solid dish overall, but that pairing felt a bit like two soloists trying to sing a duet.
Set in a beautiful garden like setting in the middle of a mall… food made fresh and very different but delicious. I tried avoiding smash which is so common in every cafe but they served it with soft ricotta and some spice powder which makes it unique. Coffee was good and service was good too. I felt rushed though soon after finishing the food.
