New to the area & so glad we found The Tavern! We had the steak special and it was so delicious, best steak we've had in a long time. Compliments to the Chef! We ate in Sportsbar as the restaurant was full and we were looked after by the very friendly Kimberley who helped us join the Pub App and engaged with our two kids. Brilliant service! A great family night & we will definitely be back!
Kay and Ashley are AMAZING! Worth every cent. We went to the cocktail making night and it was such a vibe. Didnt eat so cant comment on this but If you want a old school local customer service come to the Castle Hill Tavern for this event. You wont be disappointed. Had a ball. Will be back with more friends and family for sure
I had my 30th birthday at the Castle Hill Tavern in one of their function rooms and I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The staff were incredible — a special thank you to Kimberly, and the function team Kirsty and Lachlan. The care shown by the staff was so beautiful and genuinely made the night feel extra special. Thank you as well for allowing me the flexibility to set up the room beforehand. From the food, to the space, to how easy everything was to organise, everything was seamless. I couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough for any event.
Food was great, and the kitchen handled mistakes professionally, but staffing was a real issue. On a boiling hot Friday Happy Hour, the Sports Bar was clearly understaffed, leaving the very tall, blonde, hardworking staff member to manage huge queues alone — she was fantastic and deserves credit. Meanwhile, the Bistro appeared overstaffed in comparison with 4 staff chatting & laughing away, with only 4 customers in that part of the hotel. Management could improve the experience significantly by allocating staff more evenly during peak times.
Quiet place with plenty of open air carpark lots. Some food eatery to see. Eat, drink, dine, play.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
