Absolutely loved our first visit to The Deck Café in Castle Hill — what an incredible find! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from Mouna and her husband, who run the place with so much passion and heart. The coffee was perfect — rich, smooth, and full of flavor — easily one of the best in the area. We also tried a few bites from their menu, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. It’s clear they take pride in quality and presentation. The ambience is something truly special. Surrounded by lush greenery, wooden decor, and a gentle breeze, it honestly felt like we were having coffee in a tropical resort in Bali rather than in the middle of Castle Hill. The peaceful environment makes it a perfect spot to relax, unwind, or even get some work done. The positive energy of this place is contagious — I even captured a little video to remember the moment. Ordered a BLAT they placed it in a wrap without asking if I wanted Turkish or wrap. Then cooked the wrap with the lettuce inside steaming and sweating it. When I told them I couldn't eat it because sweaty lettuce is disgusting, they offered to take the same ingredients and place them on the Turkish, which doesn't fix the sweaty lettuce issue. Then told me it's my fault for not telling them to put it on bread, although I'm fairly certain that BLTs and BLATs are normally served as a sandwich not a wrap. Poor service, BLAT tasted like sweaty old lettuce and I tossed it in the bin in front of their cafe as they refused to provide any service to rectify their mistakes. Waste of time, money and effort going here.
