Bicentennial Park sits on the Glebe foreshore with views across to Anzac Bridge and the harbour. The off-leash section is west of the canal, giving dogs a defined area to run while the rest of the park stays on-leash. It's part of a longer waterfront walk that connects through to the Fish Markets, so you can make the outing as short or as long as you like. Dogs are not permitted in the playground area.
The park’s off-leash section is west of the canal. Dogs not allowed in playground area. Listed in the City of Sydney dog off-leash areas program.
Large open space for dogs to run around on or off leash. RIght alongside the water as well with water access possible if your dog likes to swim. Tides vary, at low tide watch out for the sharp oyster shells.
Nice park next to the water with views to the harbour bridge and the Anzac bridge. It’s not closed as it was reported, but several areas are closed off due to the presence of asbestos in the mulch. It has an interesting walkway over the water, picnic area, a large kids playground and is dog friendly.
Beautiful park and foreshore. Great area for a walk along the harbour. There is a playground nearby and areas for dogs to run. Picturesque in the afternoons.
Lots of fig trees! Beautiful scenery with lots of parking. Close to bus stop. Highly recommended for a quiet walk or picnic or just chilling under a tree.
So we were looking for a bike track to go to with the family, we googled to see what would come up and this place came up. The area in Glebe is beautiful was really easy to find, just pretty much followed google maps to get there. The tracks are kid friendly but I think but there are some little ledges that you need to careful with when taking the kids on the bike track since most of the track is on the edge of the water. Still safe in my opinion but just need to be careful. If you not a fan of dogs then you may not like the place as there were hundreds of dogs on the weekend. We would pass a dog every 2 mins but they were never a problem for us was kinda cute and my kids fear dogs and were fine. They also have heaps of little play areas for the kids, even a flying fox, slippery slide, was pretty cool. The thing about this place that sets it apart from other tracks is the scenery, lots of photo opportunities here. If you wanted to eat tramsheds is only 5 min drive with a few restaurants inside there and clean toilets inside. Or, there is the streets of glebe where you might find something to eat there also.
