Dog rules
North Sydney is a dog-friendly area and all Council parks and public reserves are off-leash areas, except for bushland areas, playing fields when organised sporting events are in progress, and venues where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. (Source: North Sydney Council — northsydney.nsw.gov.au)

What people say
Great dog park. The tennis courts are for public use without booking and a basketballring (in the middle of the two courts). First in best dressedwith the courts. 1 hour limit per use. Also a public toilet on the court.
The public tennis courts here are good but some people can get super angry if you spend more than 45 mins on the court. If you want to be assured of having the court to yourself maybe pay money and book a real court? Actual park is a bit bland. Good place for dogs.
Great park for a walk/afternoon stroll or a picnic. Kids play area is very popular and is big enough for little dogs to run around in. No fences though so need to be careful with kids and pets.
Nice shaded area behind the KU with a good selection of playground equipment, a little further south-east is outdoor gym equipment. A number of benches and tables for picnics / kid pit stops.
If you have ever been wondering whether this park has a workout place, but you were too lazy to come and check, it does!
