I haven’t had the chance to try the food, directly interact with staff or even enter the building. The outdoor seating area was enough to dazzle me, that and a glass of Prosecco. The vibe was really good for a summers evening, would definitely visit again 🤩

Solid selection of pub grub including tomahawk steaks, seafood chowder, lemon sole, and a pizza. Plenty of indoor seating plus an outdoor beer garden.

The Oaks is an excellent choice if you are looking for a place to enjoy good food, quality drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am very glad I decided to visit, as the experience was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. This venue is perfect for groups and makes a fantastic spot to spend a weekend with friends or family. There are several distinct sections within the venue, each catering to different occasions. There is a lively bar area, a space that appears suitable for private gatherings, and a beautiful open courtyard. We chose to sit outside, close to the magnificent oak tree that gives the venue its name, and it created a lovely, relaxed setting. The drinks were excellent, offering a great selection and prepared with care. The food quality was outstanding—flavourful, well presented, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Every dish we tried was impressive and matched the high standard set by the venue. The service was equally noteworthy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. Whether you are looking for a casual catch-up, a weekend celebration, or simply a spot to enjoy a great meal and drinks in a charming setting, The Oaks is well worth a visit. The combination of its beautiful surroundings, excellent food and drinks, and warm service makes it a place I would happily return to and recommend to others.

The place is huge, and the big fairy lit tree at the back is beautiful at night. Staff are mostly helpful. The rolled pork I had wasn't very nice, skin was burnt, pork tasted like it was reheated and dry. But some of the other meals were alright according to my dining companions.

A mainstay in this location for decades. A real landmark for the north shore! Extremely eye-catching oak tree, which looks spectacular glowing with fairy lights in the evening. Various rooms and outlets in the complex to imbibe, eat, and catchup with loved ones and friends. Staff were very kind in allowing us to move through the complex throughout the evening while celebrating an after party of a wedding. Thank you!
