Grasmere Reserve is a small, tucked-away park in Cremorne that is easy to miss among the larger ones nearby. In keeping with North Sydney's parks, dogs are welcome off-leash here, and the quiet, shaded setting makes it a pleasant local spot. It is a compact green rather than a big run, with a playground alongside. A peaceful, low-key off-leash pocket.
North Sydney is a dog-friendly area and all Council parks and public reserves are off-leash areas, except for bushland areas, playing fields when organised sporting events are in progress, and venues where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. (Source: North Sydney Council — northsydney.nsw.gov.au)
Fantastic little park, hidden away a bit and most people will miss it either opting for Grasmere Playground or Brightmore reserve. A small amount of play equipment towards the south end of the park, but lots of space towards the north end for running around. Good spot to let your dog have a run. Fantastic little community garden at the north end as well!
Love it , what a wonderful nature strip in the middle of Suburba , North side ..
We call Grasmere Reserve "secret park", because it is a little-known playground across the road from the well-known "mushroom park" or "teacup park". The play equipment is basic but fun, including two slides, sprung swings, and a flying fox. There is also a big grassy hill, and the ambience is set by huge trees on either side.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
