Portions are getting small, used to be my favorite ham and cheese croissant, today’s croissant can barely see a full slice of ham.

Nice cozy spot tucked away just a short walk from Crows Nest metro — a bit of a hidden gem. Took my friend here and they’d never even heard of it before. Finally tried the pork dumpling jaffle, which I’ve been eyeing for ages. It’s not your usual jaffle — this one’s got a unique Asian twist. The filling’s like a pork dumpling: savoury pork mince, ginger, cabbage, a bit of garlic, all pressed into a golden, crispy jaffle. Comes with black vinegar and crispy chilli oil on the side, which brought that familiar dumpling tang and a gentle kick. Warm, crunchy, and so comforting — perfect winter snack. Coffee was excellent too — smooth and balanced. Just came out a bit lukewarm; slightly hotter and it would’ve been perfect.

The batch coffee I ordered was sensational, and it was clear that the baristas put in great care and attention to the brewing process, resulting in a rich and complex flavor that left me thoroughly satisfied. The pastries were equally exceptional and complemented my coffee perfectly. The warm, flaky texture of the pastry combined with the perfectly brewed coffee was a match made in heaven. What really stood out to me was the quality of the service. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their products. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions I had. Overall, Cavalier is a must-visit for coffee and pastry enthusiasts.
