I felt a bit nostalgic about my time in the inner west of Sydney so my wife and I did a detour to The Cafe Sienna. It is not often that all the elements of a cafe combine to create a hospitality venue with character - The Cafe Sienna succeeds. The inner west if Sydney is a busy high density area. Annandale Street is a pocket of this suburb which is peaceful (if you ignore a little aircraft noise). The corner property with outside tables on two sides comfortably sits in a residential precinct. The outside tables are pleasant particularly on a sunny day. The inside tables sit in a bright sun drenched space with art work on the walls. The super power of this cafe are the beautiful staff. A group of young staff with Nepalese heritage, elegant manners and radiant smiles look after their customers efficiently but with a gentleness that warmed my soul. Even on a busy Sunday morning the kitchen pumps out the food quickly. The portions are generous. For this coffee fanatic, my macchiato was the best I have found in ages. A special thank you to one of the female staff who came to the rescue when one of my dogs was sick on the footpath. She quickly helped with buckets of water to clean up the mess. We appreciated her no fuss and friendly approach to us and our dogs. A water bowl for the dogs appeared very shortly after we settled at our table. As you can probably see, I love this cafe. I felt a bit of the vibe one gets from great cafes in Paris.

Wonderful, unpretentious place for lazy morning or afternoon. The cafe offers the atmosphere of pre-digital lifestyle. My favourite cafe in the Inner West. Big thanks to the great staff. They still remember how to smile authentically.

It was a miserable morning as i sat in my living room unable to walk due to an ankle injury that occured the day before, i browse doordash for 55 minutes before deciding on ‘the cafe Sienna’ I called the cafe sienna to ask if they could replace the bread on their smoked salmon eggs benedict and the friendly gentleman on the other end of the line agreed. The food arrived after about half an hour and the coffee was well packed, the eggs cooked to perfection and the extra hollandaise happily sitting there waiting to be devoured. Honestly this breakfast made my morning, the food in Sydney isnt cheap and isnt always up to standard but i definitely felt as though i got my moneys worth at this cafe. It was my first time trying and i will most definitely order again and visit in person. Thank you to whoever made my food!!!!

A cute cafe that used to be my local corner store and lolie shop. I have been coming here for years. The service is always friendly and efficient and the coffee is always good. This time i tried the vegan berrie bowl as well as my regular long black. It was very nice. It reminded me of the fruit bowls in Bali. You can also get all the usual stuff like wraps, bacon and eggs rolls and cakes.

I work at the residential aged care facility next to Cafe Sienna. I always get my coffee from them before I go to work or during my break time. All the staff members are very friendly. They really pay attention-they know the coffee orders of their patrons. Coffee and sandwiches taste great. They serve their food warm. Every time I go there, they don't need to ask what my order is haha. The place looks homey and relaxing. Highly recommeneded.
