Very comfortable room that had been recently refurbished. In terms of the pub: I had the best Caesar Salad of my life here. It had anchovies, dry cured bacon (I think smoked), and delicious cheese. Even the croutons were savory - I suspect cooked in oil and flavored with herbs. The vibe was excellent, I felt I'd been transported to the late 90s/early millennium - particularly the music, and the games room. It was nice to see people with their dogs and a mix of singles and families. To this extent it reminded me almost of an English pub more than an Australian one.
$20 for a massive burger, $5 for a nice beer. Fantastic venue, live local music, no pokies. That's what we want from a pub.
Crispy schnitzel, exquisite Caesar salad, crunchy halloumi burger, and juicy barramundi. I had a great time at the classic Aussi hotel. We enjoyed free pool as well since it was a Monday!
Hannah at the Bar was absolutely great! She queued up the tunes to two of my daughter’s favorite 5 SOS songs as the Annadale Hotel was their first venue! She also helped me find a few great beers. Cheers 🍻
Hands down one of the best roast lunches I’ve had. We’ve had lunch here twice recently (last time I had the steak sandwich, also excellent). Musics great and the staff make the place. Milo and Grace couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back again soon.
