Smith, Hogan and Spindlers Parks form a green, relaxing riverside stretch at Annandale, popular with local dogs. Dogs are allowed off-leash at any time in the designated area between the bridge near Taylor Street and the underpass at The Crescent, except during organised sport. There is drinking water and a playground on hand. A friendly, social off-leash spot by the water.
A designated area of Smith, Hogan and Spindlers Parks (between the bridge near Taylor Street and the underpass at The Crescent) is off-leash at any time except during organised sporting activities, when dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are not permitted within 10 metres of the children's playground.
The best place to walk your dog! Always so many dogs here, a great place for social dogs to have a play. Is set off quiet streets so feels more comfortable letting your dog run around. Just wish there was a speed limit on e-bikes going by on the path - feels dangerous with lots of dogs and children around.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
