Ashfield Park is a large, lovely park just off Parramatta Road, a leafy gem with mature trees and a Mary Poppins statue marking the author's local connection. Dogs are welcome on-leash, and there is plenty of room for a relaxed walk, with BBQ facilities, toilets and exercise equipment on hand. It is a comfortable, well-used spot for a longer visit. A pleasant on-leash park with a bit of character.

Inner West Council's "Dog exercise areas" page states: "By law, dogs must be on a leash in public places unless the area is a designated off-leash area." This venue is not listed as a designated off-leash area on Inner West Council's Dog exercise areas page.

Large, lovely park. A little gem tucked just off Parramatta Rd. Special highlight, the Mary Poppins statue! 🌂 The author lived nearby, so the statue (in the playground) pays tribute. There's also another Poppins statue in Bowral if you're a fan. Great spot for a walk or picnic. 🐶 Dog-friendly. No dogs permitted in fenced-in playground area. 🛝 Kid's playground, fenced in 🚻 Toilets, close to the playground 💦 Bubblers with dog bowl 🚘 Ample street parking

Toilets that are open 24/7. BBQ areas and covered entertaining area with tables and seating. Exercise equipment. Fenced childrens playground. Bubblers for humans and dogs. Always clean and well maintained.

Large park with heaps of features in a central location. Toilets, benches, bbq, kids play areas, water, outdoor gyms, and oval, various monuments and plenty of space.

An expansive park with plenty to keep kids busy. The only downside is the proximity to busy Parramatta Rd. But away from the road you don’t notice it. There is a large playground, a couple of exercise areas. There are clean toilets, free BBQs and a number of drinking fountains. See if you can find the Mary Poppins statue and work out why it is there. There is war memorial, a Philippines memorial and a language memorial. Look out for the Rainbow Serpent totem.

Lovely large grassy park with a variety of trees, toilets and a solid shelter containing tables. Impressive memorials and other things of interest. Sports field and exercise equipment. Drinking fountains, including for dogs. Community Garden for those who join.
