Great popular local birchgrove cafe. Good coffee and food. Quaint cosy fit out with views of the city skyline and pet friendly tables outside. Good selection of food that is well executed and quick service.

no fault that I could think of. food portions are great for sharing. a good variety of food to cater for many. cost vs portion is on par. had the Shakshuka and it has flavour very filling. the egg can do with less cooking. it's not as runny as I like l. it's ok the hard poach side. the tomato sauce has a good flavour, eggplant wasn't soggy with oil, seasoned well. very generous on ingredients white beans, eggplant and 2x eggs. The Mediterranean breakfast was spilling to the rim.. good for 2-3 people. I didn't get the chilli oil but good it has heat. the ricotta pancakes were fluffy and light. great atmosphere, staff were nice. place clean. great for solo dining to small med size groups. parking may be hard during the busy times, time it well and you'll be right.l

We’ve been enjoying Charlottes’ coffee, matcha, snacks and meals for nearly a decade. Love sitting outside and enjoying a table meal in the sunshine, sometimes light and casual, sometimes more substantial, or sometimes grabbing a takeaway and walking down to the oval and around the waterfront.

Tucked just off Darling Street, this place is a quiet overachiever in all the right ways. It’s not trying to be flashy, but the menu speaks for itself—one of the more interesting and well-balanced lineups I’ve seen at a café in a long time. We had the fritters and the chilli scramble, both seriously good, but the real star was the house-made chilli oil… genuinely next level. It’s got that rare mix of comfort and creativity without tipping into pretentious. Can’t believe we’ve lived around the corner this whole time and only just made it in. Safe to say it’s earned a spot in the regular rotation. 5/5.

A cute and busy neighbourhood cafe set off the main road in a quaint street. Very popular with locals and for good reason. The coffee was good, and they have a decent size takeaway coffee. If you really need a big one. The full breakfast was wonderfully filling as was the breakfast sandwich. Seating can be a little tight, as it is such a popular cafe, but they were doing busy takeaway service if that's more your speed.
