We got a cardamom bun, a quiche lorraine, and a mocha! How divine! Highly recommend all three! The cardamom bun recalled to us fond memories of our childhood visits to Katoomba. The quiche lorraine was superb in its balance of elements. The mocha was perfectly chocolatey without being too sweet. What a charming Monday morning breakfast spot!

We enjoyed a quick coffee and pastry at Sonoma bakery, the pie and tart was delicious. We also enjoyed the coffee. I found the matcha latte a bit bland. I think a bit more matcha powder would have help it cut through the milk. Friendly staff and quick service

Have been coming to this place every weekend for years. They are the best bunch of people - great food, outstanding service and easily the best coffee in all of sydney. They’ve remembered our order from the very first visit. We love the Sonoma Leichhardt crew!

Lacklustre service and food. Doesn’t compare at all the its counterpart in Alexandria. We arrived for 11am and options were dire. Not breakfast egg and bacon roll as they ‘sold out’. It appears that food isn’t made on the premises. I had the ham and cheese toastie, very light on the ham, could barely taste it, the overwhelming flavour was mustard and I like mustard. Croissant decent but a little dry, not very buttery. My sister’s bocconcini, tomato and basil ciabatta was dismal, try and completely lacking in taste. Coffee was decent, the only thing good. Service was transaction at best. No warmth or friendly cafe vibe at all. Everything is overpriced for what it is. Overall disappointing especially compared to the food and service at the Sonoma in Alexandria, thumbs down definitely 👎

The coffee was very good and the morning bun was better than average (I would personally prefer it to be lighter in texture on the inside but still enjoyed it). However I just felt something was missing. Perhaps it was atmosphere 🤔 I was lucky enough to nab a spot in the small seated area out front which has a nice ambiance and I would recommend this (seating in the back galley area did not look very inviting). The service was efficient although a little remote.
