This is a gem! All the staff are friendly and helpful. The food looks amazing. I only got some sour dough toast with marmalade. It was divine. Lots of outdoor seating, a real community atmosphere. Perfect for a quite Sunday breakfast.

Amazing brunch place that I definitely recommend going. These guys founded black star and started another venture. The savoury menu is fantastic and recommend the Reuben. The paperbark cake is so well made and would suggest getting that if anything. It’s a nice blend of Australian and standard cake ingredients. The atmosphere is nice an basically like any other car. Plenty of street parking and goodies to take home. Prices are also pretty reasonable.

I’ve visited HEARTHE over the last two weekends to make my way through the menu and have been thoroughly impressed. So much so that after one meal I took bread home — because clearly I needed that bread in my life. Get the bread. Seriously. The cakes are a standout and unlike anything else around. The Unforgettable Cake is incredible, and knowing it was created to mark the 70th anniversary of Meals on Wheels somehow makes it taste even better. I’m also choosing to believe the “brain-boosting” ingredients mean the calories don’t count — they cancel each other out, right? The Paperbark Cake — oh my. I’ve never had anything like it before. Absolute nom nom. And the Geraldton Wax Cheesecake has firmly topped my list as well. It does get very busy, so head in as early as you can. Drink the complimentary super-cold water, eat everything you can, and don’t leave without bread. This is hands down my current favourite haunt.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Warrigal Nest egg benedict and an iced latte (pictured) and I didn't expect how delicate and flavorful it would be, you can really taste every ingredient which works wonderfully as a morning/afternoon meal. The staff were friendly even when the kitchen looks busy, I want to come back and try the cakes they have because they all look phenomenal - truly epitomizes everything the most desirable qualities of Australian cafe culture and cuisine, if you're in Stanmore I cannot reccomend this place enough! Right by the station too, although given how excellent it is, expect it to be busy on the weekends!

This is such a lovely spot, situated on a bright corner that seems to be a local favorite—there was a steady stream of people the whole time we were there. We were lucky to grab a table and soak in the bustling, friendly atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming, which always makes for a great experience. We decided to sample a few of the unique cakes and pastries on offer. We tried the Paperbark cake, the Geraldton wax cheesecake, a custard donut, and the Warrigal green nest. The flavors were genuinely interesting and enjoyable, though we found the cakes themselves to be a little on the dry side. Overall, it was a really pleasant visit. The combination of a lively vibe, friendly service, and creative flavors makes this a standout bakery worth checking out. Would absolutely recommend and will be back.
