Loc Highway Hot bread and cafe is a cafe in Blaxland. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 100m away, Outrim Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Located on the Highway up to Katoomba with ample rear parking. A traditional Vietnamese run bakery offering bahn mi pork rolls for only $6.50. A chicken roll is $7.50 with a generous serve of poached chicken slices. Also making traditional milkshakes $5.50 and thick shakes $6.50. A good range of tarts, slices and pies that’ll bring a smile to everyone’s face. Take away or dine in.
Their pies are nice, but their individual sauce packets are charged $1.80 each, which is criminal in my opinion. Any good wholesaler with the name sells them at around the 22 cent mark. I can’t trust a business that disrespects its clientele in such a way.
Great Bahn mi pork rolls, even did my one with a smile on my brought wrap. Fresh cakes, lovely pies too. Super friendly people
Great fresh baked goods and bread. Very tasty and good quality. This is a family business and they are really friendly people who take pride in their work and customer service. I would recommend this shop most highly. It's a simple bakery with seating, and Vittoria coffee made very well. Come and enjoy the wonderful food and service
Saw this spot driving past on the highway, and decided to pop in and check out their banh mi. Got the classic pork. The bread was nice and crispy while still being fresh. The carrot was also fresh and delicious. I picked off the coriander because I fear I am one of those people who do not like it 💔 (my mother liked it however). I loved the shallot/spring onion, they were very generous with the amount of spring onion they put on which brought me great joy. There was also a cucumber inside, and again it was fresh and delicious. The actual pork was delicious. The cuts of meat were easy to bite through, which is an issue I’ve had at other bakeries where I’d tried to bite and then it wouldn’t break off leaving me to try and awkwardly rip it out of my mouth. I chose to get chilli on my pork roll, which was very nice. At other places the chilli sometimes doesn’t taste good, however here it was very nice and delicious. Overall, this pork roll was delicious with a generous portion for the price point. Would recommend you try if you’re feeling peckish and driving through blaxland! There is a range of options to choose from, not just the classic pork, as well as fresh pies and sweet pastries.
