We spent 2 nights in this beautiful grand manor. The beds were super comfortable and the staff and service great. We ate in the restaurant which was very good. What a great business model you have. We will be back again soon.

We stayed in this historic hotel as my husband and I like to support local businesses especially when they employ people with disabilities. Aside from the service which was great, we were a little disappointed by the condition of the hotel. Beds were comfortable and modernised but no rooms had a TV which I'm sorry for this day in age and for the price, a TV is just a basic facility. There was a communal lounge area to watch TV but the room had no natural lighting and it was just dismal. Our highlight was the new bar and lounge area. Lovely atmosphere with fireplace. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was exceptional. Unfortunately there was no atmosphere, no music and no Christmas decorations which was very disappointing.

Hotel Etico at Mount Victoria Manor is a truly special place. If you value history (the hotel was built in the late 19th century), if you want to feel kindness, care, and attention in the air (the hotel runs a unique program supporting people with Down syndrome), and if you wish to get a deeper sense of Australian culture – this is the place for you. At the same time, it perfectly suits those who are particular about cleanliness and comfort: the rooms are spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully arranged. I honestly feel that after just one night in this wonderful hotel, I left a little kinder, lighter, and better. It’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend.

My friends and I dined at the Hotel Etico restaurant called Niccolo's, for the first time. This is a social enterprise venture, which supports young people with disabilities, train and work within the hospitality sector with support from supervisors, and operates out of the Hotel Etico hotel. We had a wonderful evening in the amazing surrounds of the old manor house of the Fairfax family, which has been restored to its former glory, inside and out. The food was delicious and the service, albeit a little slow, was carried out with enthusiasm and professionalism. The young staff and their supervisors made our night and we had a wonderful time. Very reasonably priced for the caliber of the food and alcohol. Well done all and keep up the good work. A wonderful venture.

Hotel Etico is a special experience - an elegant hotel in a historic building, it has a profound philosophy of assisting people with disabilities to gain skills in hospitality and become valued employees. Situated on a hiilside in beautiful Mt Victoria in the Blue Mountains, it's close to great walks and sightseeing. Our room was modern, bright, very comfortable and spotless. On a cold August night, we chatted with other guests at the open fireplaces. There's a woody bar with great cocktails, or you can find a cosy spot in the library. The menu has plenty to choose from - we had delicious duck confit and a generous seafood basket with house-made bread and local olives to start. There's also an extensive pizza menu. There's live music on Friday nights. We were served by some of the trainees who were all so friendly and engaged. We were impressed and will return.
