Wombarra Beach is a dog-friendly beach. You'll find parking nearby, while Scarborough Wombara Scenic Lookout is just a short walk away if your dog still has energy to burn after a swim. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking before you visit.
On-leash only, at restricted times. In summer (September school holidays to Anzac Day): before 9am and after 6pm. In winter (the rest of the year): before 9am and after 4pm. Not safe for kids and adults. A lot of rocks in the swimming pool. The view was fantastic but I can't come again. Our family's feet were cut coz of the rocks and a lot of blood. Take care guys.
Beautiful place to hangout with family and friends. Limited parking but you can park near road and head to beach. Beautiful pool to swim and one space for kids too. Shower facility also available.
Be cautious if visiting this area, as Portuguese Man o' War (a type of jellyfish-like creature) can be found here. They have long tentacles with venom that can cause painful stings. Avoid touching them, even if they appear dead.
This beach 🏖️ is an amazing experience with the waves. It has more rocks than sand. Face the waves with chest height. Lots of fun to play. Also there is a pool for big ones and also a small pool for babies.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
