Earth Walker & Co General Store & Cafe is a pub in Coledale. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 200m away, St James Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Quite overpriced for the service and food. 1. Turkish eggs had an overwhelming amount of oil in the bowl leaving my partner feeling a bit unwell. 2. Kids baby chinos were all milk and no foam. 3. At two points during a meal, a waitress came to serve another dish which we had not ordered - showing a bit of a disorganised operation. 4. Our coffees came without teaspoons and when requested we were given big spoons because apparently the teaspoons were in the dishwasher.. 5. We asked for a granola to kindly be split across two smaller bowls for the kids. While I appreciate the plate up is important, this could’ve been done in the kitchen and a nicely presented dish served up for the kids. As part of Customer Service, we felt it would be reasonable to expect this simple request to be met but it was not. 6. After the dishes were served, we couldn’t get attention from a waitress again for water. The fitout is very nice but professionalism of operation, and particularly customer service / hospitality is missing unfortunately.
I had such an amazing time at this cafe when I visited with my friends! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming and warm. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. The decorations and overall styling of the cafe were absolutely amazing, so cozy, stylish, and perfect for hanging out and taking photos. To top it off the food and drinks were amazing and delicious. Everything about this place just feels thoughtful and well put together. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others!
We went for breakfast on Sunday morning. The pictures of the food and the café looked great online, and we really liked the atmosphere of the place. However, we were quite disappointed with the food. We ordered a hot chocolate, but it was very watery — more water than chocolate. We also ordered two similar burgers, but they were made very differently, with very little bacon and egg, and mostly mayonnaise and bread. The funny (and a bit sad) part was that we received the burgers first, and by the time we finished them, the hot chocolate and coffee arrived. The café itself is really nice, but the staff could use some extra training to improve the service. The cashier, though, was a legend — very friendly and professional. We left feeling that it was quite expensive for what we got and not really satisfied with the food.
Wow - this place is beautiful- you would be mistaken that you are in a plush Bistro in Paris. We love the ample space and the big tables. We went on Friday evening for their wood fire cooked food and we were not disappointed- The lamb was to die for and so were the rest of the dishes which were for sharing. The service was tops and added to the perfect dining experience. We were well looked after from start to finish. Well done . No point describing the dishes- you just need to try them yourself. However I have added photos to let you judge.10/10
Easy Sunday breakfast. New to the area lovely staff, great atmosphere! Food was wholesome as well as their drinks! Go back again!
