Dog rules

Dogs are welcome in this park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in the City of Sydney's 50 designated off-leash parks — this is not one of them. Dogs are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts, and enclosed sports ovals. Please pick up after your dog — free waste bags are available at most parks. Vivid at darling harbour this year is wonderful. Definitely make the effort - especially with kids. There's swings, seesaws, kick tennis...it's fun for everyone and super interactive.

Darling Quarter Village Green is essentially a small grassy area located within Darling Quarter. I feel that the rating and recommendation on visiting it depends on whether an activity or event is being held. There are times that the green is vacant, in which case it is really easy to walk past it unnoticed. However, on the occasion that I visited, outdoor movies were being played, so I enjoyed my visit there. The space was sectioned off and secured well. It was nestled amongst the trees and vibrant atmosphere of the eateries in Darling Quarter. I found it to be well located. It was surrounded by convenient facilities.
