Frog Hollow Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Surry Hills with an off-leash area where dogs can stretch their legs off lead. Just 200m away, Forrester's is a great nearby spot to relax with your dog after a walk.
Dog off-leash allowed at all times. Listed in the City of Sydney dog off-leash areas program.
Nice chilled park. Maybe too close to the main road and no seating. Great for dogs, questionable for lunch/ picnic..
Old mobster haunt which has been given the gentrification treatment. No barbecue facilities. No public toilet. No seating, apart from the ample stairs and ramps that allow access to this steep, almost amphitheatre space. Mostly just lawn with a couple of token gardens to break the green expanse. Mostly used for dog walking and picnic lunches... just ensure your meat is cooked before you arrive!
Interesting reserve with an apparently sordid past, as hinted at by a sign at the entrance located at the corner of Riley Street and Albion Street. It must have been quite the den of iniquity back in the day. This entrance also appears to be a collection point / dumping ground for E-bikes. A steep set of stairs is located here, however, there is a footpath-level entrance off Little Albion Street, and a ramp with a fairly gentle gradient further along Albion Street.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
