What people say
Lovely off leash dog park. Plenty of friendly dogs around 4:30pm - 5:30pm. Gets pretty soggy in the middle after the rain so stay on the path when wet.
호주 찐 로컬 바이브 댕댕이들 볼 수 있는 사랑스런 공원 🐶🌳 Lovely inner-city park with a great local vibe! Shady trees, sunny spots, and loads of happy dogs make this place a gem 🦮💕 It’s off-leash friendly, so there’s always something to watch - even if you don’t have a dog! Great for a picnic or takeaway lunch from nearby cafés. The layout is nice with different zones, and it’s sheltered enough to avoid strong winds. Parking is metered but usually manageable. Just watch for soggy patches after rain. A relaxing, dog-loving space right in the heart of Surry Hills 🌳 🐶💚
Divine green space in the heart of town with big trees. Very dog friendly (so we love it even more). Heaps of spots for picnics & you are literally within 5 mins wander for any provisions anyone forgot to bring. Genuinely superb - I love this spot for catching up with friends in both the sun & the shade 🥰🥰🥰🌈🌈🌈🎉🎉🎉
Harmony Park, located in Surry Hills, Sydney, is a 7.5-acre urban green space bordered by Goulburn, Brisbane, and Campbell Streets. Established in 2006, the park transformed a previously neglected area into a vibrant community hub, celebrating the cultural and social diversity of Surry Hills and Darlinghurst. The park features open lawns, tree-lined pathways, and seating areas, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and leisure. It serves as an off-leash area for dogs at all times, providing a popular venue for pet owners. Harmony Park's history dates back to the Brisbane Street slum clearance of 1924. After decades of neglect and use as a car park, the site was redeveloped into the current park, offering a green retreat amidst the urban environment. In February 2024, the park was temporarily closed due to the discovery of friable asbestos in garden bed mulch. Authorities took necessary precautions to ensure public safety during the remediation process. Harmony Park remains a cherished space for both locals and visitors, providing a peaceful environment for relaxation and community engagement in the heart of Sydney.
A great place to play with your dog off leash not much changes at the parks accross the CBD just the depth of the mud & puddles & the length of the grass but still a fun place for dogs
