Kaska Eatery & Cafe is definitely a must go to top cafes in Sydney for the beautiful brunch and pastries and their food presentations the menu is sophisticated! The Matcha was the best compared to any from Perth because of the Seremonial and Canadian Maple syrup combination. Would definitely recommend as a must go to cafe in Sydney such a pleasure to be served by them.

I love matcha so their iced soy matcha was a letdown for me. Wanted to order the strawberry or the pistachio matcha but they don’t make them with nondairy milk. The pistachio matcha croissant was the bomb though! It was a generic cafe croissant then shoved with matcha cookie with white choco chips, then drizzled with thick pistachio cream and real chopped up pistachios on top- for only $8! The place was aesthetically pleasing with two private rooms for bigger groups. The staff are friendly. Also I went on Sunday after lunch so there was no queue at all

You will know why everyone in the review ordered Scrambled eggs - OMG, that was sooooo good! I didn’t pay high expectations to this one, Injust randomly picked this cafe before we were about to shops at Paddington. I’d say their food and coffees were so delicious and worth the price point. You just picked any of their choices on the menu, I believe it won’t go wrong 🥰 Another thing is as an architectural lover, I really like their interior and material palette, I want to have a shelf like theirs in my place lollll 🤣

I had pleasure to stop by Kaska Eatery for morning tea. I have been following Cherry’s goods since I had brunch at her Bondi shop, but missed out the queue at the Cherrys good bakery in the city, thanks god. To be honest, their carrot cake is the best one I have ever tried, moist and full of flavour with well balanced sweetness. Not to mention generous amount of walnuts! Unfortunately the cookies look sad (guessing they are not trained bakers..?? Need better consistency) but my matcha white chocolate cookie was ok, although I felt it is sadly not worth to queue up for an hour. I didn’t feel it was overpriced with the gigantic size of the cake or cookie. I heard locals complain about it when the bakery opened in the CBD, but I think it’s normal price for the serving size in 2025. We just have to deal with it…… I feel I’d come back for their carrot cake definitely. The service was good with smiley and helpful staff, not busy at 10am weekday morning. The inside sitting is a bit dark and cold for me, but has some outside sitting area, which is nice.

It was our first time visiting, and I was really looking forward to the avocado. Unfortunately, when I went to order, I was told that the avocado was sold out and that the matcha latte with coconut was no longer available. I was quite disappointed and had to rethink my order. I ended up choosing the tomato with sourdough and scrambled eggs. However, I was surprised to see the person who ordered after me—and sat next to me—receive an avocado toast with a boiled egg. I asked the staff at the counter about it, and she then realized there had been a miscommunication. She kindly offered to fix the order and replaced the tomato with avocado on my plate. Interestingly, the woman next to me shared that she had the same experience—she was told there was no avocado, only to see others receiving it later. The cashier later brought me a cookie as a gesture of goodwill, which I appreciated. Still, I believe there's significant room for improvement. As first-time customers, both of us left feeling disappointed. I hope the owner considers improving the order or stock management system and invests in better team communication to prevent this from happening again. As for the food, it was okay—though a bit salty—and the long black was quite watery.
