Like Minds

Like Minds Cafe is an absolute gem in Avoca Beach. It's clear that this place is loved by locals, and the lively, vibrant atmosphere makes it a great spot to visit. I also love that it's dog-friendly, which adds to the warm, community feel. I decided to try the sourdough crumpets, and they were absolutely delicious—the rhubarb added a perfect, tangy sweetness that made the dish exceptional. While the filtered coffee wasn't quite to my taste, the fantastic food and overall welcoming vibe more than made up for it. The staff is always so friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some great food. Highly recommend for the crumpets and the incredible atmosphere!

Absolutely loved this cafe. Very cool interior with sustainable design made with milk bottles and also realised that the cups were made from recycled materials. The sour dough crumpets were visually beautiful and tasted good too and the coffee was good.

Very quaint and cosy corner coffee shop. The team there is friendly and accommodated my vegetarianism. The batch brew was very nice! And a rare fine around this area to find somewhere with filter coffee. Though it was a little too acidic, lighter roasts definitely need lower temp water! I'll be back to see if you fix it! This place was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. Great vibe to the joint. The coffee was spot on. The food was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We'll come back when we can for sure! Well worth a visit!
