Dog rules

–Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Decent flat park. Used for cricket. Next to lagoon with a walking trail popular with dog walkers

Lovely big park by the water, lit by floodlights for a few hours after dark, lots of activities seem to take place there, including school PE classes and dogs being exercised.

Beautiful little Park, the beach is nice and on low tide you can walk across to North Avoca. On the 4th Sunday of each month there is a market. Lots of arts and craft and food. We picked up a lovely print and ate some japanese
