What people say
Long time diner, first time reviewer. My friend from work recommended this place as we both have a love of matcha and Rushi takes matcha to the next level! My first time, I dined in and had the sushi special which was very tasty. The matcha special that week was white choc raspberry and it was so delish. Not staying too far from my usual strawberry matcha. The next time, I dined in again and this time I had the scrambled eggs. Omg they were ✨divine✨ Paired with the chili oil and it was just perfect! The matcha special that week was a choc peanut and I ventured out a little and tried it. So tasty! Since then, I’ve been back multiple times for a takeaway matcha and was thrilled that the menu revamp added some of the fav specials as regulars. My top matcha and top rec is the iced maple sea salt. Best matcha drink I’ve ever had! What’s even better? The staff are so so friendly and remember you if you go as regularly as I do!
The food here is unbelievably good! The flavours are perfectly balanced and every bite is a joy. Coffees were well made with good latte art. Limited seating inside and the seats outside are along the main road, but surprisingly that doesn't dampen the experience.
Fluffy hotcakes, were flat, rubbery, dense and super eggy, tasted like an omelette or egg scallops. They had a weird bubbly skin on top. Surprised they were served.
Decent japanese fare with very good matcha and coffee! Friendly service as well
Combination w/ Eastern amd western, Onigiri plate. Japanese looks Onigiri and Avocado with poached eggs. Onigiri was very nice and Fried veggie prawn was crunch. Good!!
