Paper Plane Cafe Parramatta

A charming place with nice décor, atmosphere and cleanliness. In these times when many cafés offer sourdough toast but only use bread bought from a supermarket where sourdough is not present, this café is an example of where you can try excellent quality sourdough bread on a brunch toastie. I appreciate the quality of each of the ingredients and the love that goes into the preparation. The coffee is very good. Thank you for the attention and warmth of your staff.

Nice location, quiet, plenty of covered outdoor and indoor seating. Good service, good coffee, very nice Cuban bennie. Will be back to try the corn fritters.

Lovely place, quiet area around the back to chat or work in peace (with two tables with power sockets!). I got food envy looking at another customers food so I ordered something similar. The Mushroom & Kale on toast, with chilli eggs (I had scrambled but on the menu it’s a fried egg), and it has feta cheese and some other seasonings. It was very good, nice amount of chilli flakes too (ask for none if you’re not sure), crispy kale (not what I expected but it was nice, although unfried kale is what I thought I’d get, but lovely all the same!). The only criticism is that the toast was slightly overdone and so was also quite crispy and tough to cut through. Yet I finished it all and was very satisfied, great portion (just the right amount). Accompanied by a cute little bottle of free beautifully chilled tap water, a nice touch.

Had a great experience! The food and coffee were both very nice—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A lovely spot I’d definitely come back to!
