Extremely awful experience. I ordered breakfast out of ordinary due to school holidays and working from home left me no time to cook today for my 5 year old hence ordering breakfast to save time and cleaning up with minimal breaks allowed during working day. The delivery driver rang the door bell, didn’t answer me verbally when I said “hello?”, until I unlocked the main entrance I heard the door open from mic. Then I waited for a knock on the door to take the order by hand but heard nothing. Opened my door just to check if she had gotten lost or if the main door maybe hadn’t opened properly only to find my order sitting in front of my door and the carpet drenched in the order. All I could hear was footsteps running down and the final shut of the ground level main entrance door, couldn’t even complain to her because she dropped the food and left so quickly and quietly. The whole order was a disgusting and time consuming mess. My whole carpet has stains of coffee and hot chocolate. My eggs were completely soaked in the coffee. My daughter’s pancakes drenched in caffeine and the whole back drenched by coffee continuing to drip all over my dining table onto the seats and onto the carpet floor. So no one had breakfast, didn’t have my dirty chai coffee, have to spend my 30 lunch break later to steam clean my carpet and common area walkways instead of sitting with my daughter giving her my full attention on the short break I get in 8 hours. On top of that, uber won’t refund, the store I called didn’t even answer the phone. Still have to figure out food for her + clean all this crap. I thought I ordered a dirty chai not a dirty house. I’m extremely disappointed and agitated by this experience. I would not trust this establishment for delivery foods, although the delivery driver was careless, the establishment could have done more than stick washy tape over the mouth whole of the drinks and actually spent 1 minute adding some glad wrap. Maybe even seperate drinks and food in two seperate brown bags would be smarter so that accidents affect less parts of the order. Not going to order from here especially after uber telling me I’m not eligible for refund and establishment ignoring calls. I paid $50 to eat nothing and get my house dirty and spend my time soaking up beverages with toilet paper. Off putting, mood ruining experience. Thanks Urban Jungle Cafe, don’t know why I trusted the high rating on uber. 👍
Tucked away on the ground floor of Westfield Parramatta is @urbanjunglesyd - a relaxed café vibes with greenery-filled interiors, making it the perfect spot for brunch, coffee dates, or a mid-shopping breather. There's vibrant plates, solid coffee and amazing iced drinks! We ordered: - Jungle Brekky - Urban Benny - Urban Hotcakes - Lychee & Coco crush - Mango Passion Crush Absolutely loved the Urban Benedict w Sujuk - loved the different elements of fried hash brown and fried mushrooms with that stunning hollandaise sauce!
Level 1, Westfield Parramatta Loved this place! The food looks amazing and tastes even better. A perfect spot for brunch or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!
This place is a nice spot in Parramatta for brunch. Came here for brunch and the place gets so busy, which is always a good sign. We got the jungle brekky and they nailed every component of the dish. The tempura mushrooms were super crispy and delicious, the sourdough was soft with a slight crunch on the outside, and it paired perfectly with smashed avo and tomato jam. We also tried the udon carbonara. It was creamy with a nice spicy kick. But it does get a little heavy towards the end, but the flavour is delicious. I had their Pink lemonade lychee & rose tea to clean the palate, and it was refreshing and light, perfect balance after a rich dish. We also got the urban hotcake. Pancakes were soft and weren’t dry at all.
Brunched at the most stunning jungle-themed cafe and I'm still not over it! The decor was lush, bright, and full of greenery The dishes? Too pretty to eat and the drinks? So refreshing and Instagrammable. We ordered: Grilled chicken sandwich Urban hotcakes Churros french toast Fresh watermelon crush Matcha frappe If you're looking for a spot that serves both vibes and flavor - this is it!
