Porter Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Newport where dogs are welcome on lead. Charli's Cafe is also around 550 metres away for a post-walk coffee.
Dog rules
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. This venue is not listed on the Northern Beaches Council off-leash dog areas page; off-leash use is not authorised here.

Great little village rugby park with views of the ocean and a bar deck. Fantastic atmosphere and community spirit on show during any of the Newport Breakers' home games at any grade level.

Beautiful ground. you know when i was a youngster this was my second home i would train every morning and night, every week after school and before it was something i would look forward too. to sum it up this is my home and i love it.

Lovely nature reserve with wetlands walk to or from Avalon. Easy pathways for strollers.

Great local park. Also used for junior rugby games. Very simple grass area but great to run around with a ball. Had good but rough basketball hoop
