ShotLab Espresso is a cafe in Newport. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 350m away, Bert Payne Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Very disappointing service! Ordered an avocado and coffee via ubereats... I tried calling the number, was told to message and then was hung up on! Messaged my concerns how I paid $14 for avocado when all they gave me was a small piece of bread with sliced avo, no cheese, no marinade, no onion... then when the chef rang back trying to fix it... his excuse was he didn't know the menu! Who employs someone who doesn't read the menu they're cooking?! After offering to make me a new order etc., I just didn't want it... the chef was rude telling me he was super busy, didn't have time to talk cause of the orders he had waiting and then claiming I was yelling (no I wasn't)... very unhappy with the rude service all over - won't be ordering here again and it's a shame cause I order here a bit. Would not recommend if you want avocado toast! Not worth the silly price they charge! Other cafes are better up the road.
Went here because of the reviews, thought will get a barista coffee. However the girl just very quickly poured the milk into the cup (take away), not as professional barista should do. She was more into discussing weekend’s events than creating a barista coffee. I could have done this at home. The coffee temperature and the coffee quality itself were good though.
My favourite place to whip in for my morning coffee on my way to work. Their text system is easy, my coffee is always ready, and the milk temperature is perfect. Their halloumi wrap is pretty delicious too!
Consistently good coffee, a bloody delicious B&E roll and always friendly service :) Also super handy to be able to order ahead - ShotLab is our go-to when we're on our way out somewhere and need to grab something on the go 👌🏼
Really small simple cafe but excellent coffee and a great ordering system to beat the rush.
