What people say
Not a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as you would expect, particularly with staff. Felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there as a customer. While waiting for my coffee I had to ask whether it would be brought out to where I would go sit. Weren’t particularly friendly when they brought it over either. Found it was more dog tolerant than friendly. When leaving a staff member said good bye to the customers in front of me, and I was completely ignored.
The 13$ coffee+B&E roll deal was fantastic. Kind and smiley service added up.
For 15 years now Zubi has been a fabulous little oasis in Newport. Great coffee, a lovely garden out back and tables inside. Service is fast, even on a busy Saturday morning, and there’s a small but decent selection of food. A lovely spot for a bite or a coffee.
A pretty cool little secret coffee shop with a backgarden eating area that was a delightful surprise. Very cozy and cute. Lovely place to dine in and have lunch or take away coffee or pastries. I had the bacon and egg roll and a coffee, and another time I had a little brownie and it was divine. Pretty cool place. 😎 definetly recommend.
I really enjoyed my avo on toast and latte. The boys, however, thought they'd had better Bacon and Egg rolls. (I didn't remove a star because this is my review. 😉) They squish them while toasting rather than making them fresh. We sat outside, which was cool and pleasant. The cafe is open early, so it is very convenient for us after early sunrise photography.
