Haven’t been able to visit The Armchair Collective, but I know the owner incredibly well — and if her personality is anything to go by, this place is going to be something special. She’s one of those rare humans who makes everyone feel instantly welcome, with a warmth and attention to detail that’s hard to beat. Add to that her great eye for design and solid background in the food industry, and I have no doubt the space will be beautiful, the vibe will be relaxed, and the food will be excellent. Very much looking forward to experiencing it in person soon ☕✨

Hubby & I have enjoyed brunch here, twice this weekend. Food was so fresh & tasty & the service super friendly. Location was very relaxing. Can't wait to go back again, would like to get there every weekend, if possible.💐

Amazing Breakfast Spot with Beautiful Vibes at Mona Vale Beach. Absolutely loved our visit to this Northern Beaches gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm welcome from the owner and staff made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, fresh and full of flavour, and the coffee was top quality. What really makes this place stand out is the adorable homewares on display. Such a lovely, unique touch that adds so much character to the cafe. They’re perfect for Christmas gifts or a little treat for yourself. The staff were genuinely friendly and so lovely, taking time to chat and make great recommendations. This is now our go-to breakfast/brunch spot on the Northern Beaches, highly recommend!

⭐️ 1 Star Disappointing experience I was really looking forward to visiting The Armchair Collective, but unfortunately the food offering was very underwhelming. The menu feels dated and limited, especially for anyone who is plant-based, vegan, or simply looking for fresher, more considered options. What | received — 2 small avocado pieces, dairy butter and plain toast — was extremely basic for the price and didn't reflect the standard I expected. It would be great to see the menu updated with more thoughtful, flavourful options and some proper plant-based choices, which are now standard in most cafes. The space and location is lovely, but the food offering really needs improvement. In response to your reply: After enquiring about vegan options non were given by the team. The menu doesn’t have a ‘Build your own’ section. Neither does it contain any information on dietary preferences, allergens present… Justify the inadequacies or choose to listen to constructive criticism to improve.
