This beach is a beautiful and off-leash dog friendly spot! There’s a gentle slope to walk up and down on your way to the beach! The crisp sea breeze and picturesque beach stroll create a delightful atmosphere. But, exercise caution, as the waves can sweep your dog out to the open ocean. Refrain from taking your dog into the turbulent waters. It’s an excellent beach for dog walking, running, and playing fetch. Keep in mind that there’s no water source available for rinsing your dog’s paws or your own feet! 🐾

Got cut by a piece of glass on beach, guess I shouldn't have been barefooted. Beautiful beach, dogs loved it. A bit of an incline if you knees aren't good, I found it a bit of a struggle.

Normally an excellent place to enjoy the beach with your K9 companion. However, the recent east coast lows have eroded the beach to the point the original steps etc have been washed away and it is a very steep (Sheer Drop) of a few metres to the beach. This can present difficulties in getting off the beach for both you and your K9 companion. BUT....knowing the area as well as I do, I can also say that it will not be long until the sand returns, The steps etc, will probably take a LOT longer (knowing the local council)
